It’s no surprise that a sculpture by someone named Davey Jones would have an oceanic theme.

“Seal” stands an impressive three metres tall and appears to be erupting from the pavement in Liebig Street.

The faceted steel sculpture was chosen following an expression of interest process as part of the City Centre Renewal.

Unveiled in November 2018, it has quickly become one of the most popular spots in the CBD for photos.
