This colony of seven bronze Little Penguins can be found perched atop a sandstone wall in Liebig Street.

The work was commissioned as part of the City Centre Renewal Project and was unveiled in December 2017.

Julie said that Warrnambool is well-known for its penguin colony, with the success of the movie Oddball helping to take this fame to new heights.

Each penguin is different and each has its own personality.

Anyone with plans of pilfering a penguin will be sadly disappointed, they are secured to the wall by a combination of industrial-strength glue and metal rods.
