Warrnambool has a deep connection to music. The city is home to many of Australia’s most recognisable anthems, as well as being the location for our country’s oldest recorded song – The Hen Convention! The Musical Warrnambool mural is a fun and whimsical journey through some of these stories, a passenger’s point of view from inside a V/Line carriage as the train passes famous faces and iconic moments in music.
Father Marker’s delightful mural was made possible through a partnership with the Department of Transport and Planning, V/Line and Warrnambool City Council, as part of the Transporting Arts Pilot Program in 2025.
